What’s included?
* Direct cremation plan of £995 plus a management fee of £195
** Direct cremation plan of £995 plus a management fee of £195 plus £258.70 charge for credit. The single payment represents payment of the management fee plus the first month’s instalment. Payments of 12, 24, 36 and 48 months are available upon request.
*** Payment calculated for a person aged 60 when taking out the plan. If the plan holder lives beyond the age of 75 years and 9 months the payments will exceed the cost of the funeral. If the plan holder passes away before the cost of the funeral has been paid but has lived a minimum of 12 months from inception of the plan the plan will be fully covered, and no further funds towards the funeral director’s costs will be required to be paid.

The selling of pre-paid funeral plans is a non-regulated activity however It is a legal requirement for all money paid in respect of pre-paid funeral plans to be protected by depositing the funds into a whole of life insurance policy or a trust. This provides you with peace of mind that your funeral will go ahead as planned and your money is safe.
Our pre-paid plans are totally transparent, the fees we charge cover the cost of the service we are to provide, plus a management fee of £195. All fees are paid to Ecclesiastical Planning Services, who in turn put 100% of your money, to cover service fees, straight into a whole of life insurance policy where the funds are managed by Royal London within the FCA regulated sector. This provides you with an added layer of protection. The management fee is retained by Ecclesiastical to set up and manage the plan on your behalf. We do not receive a single penny until the plan is called upon and we deliver the services as planned.
We don’t like trust based plans because trusts are managed by trustees who govern the rules. Often trustees agree to pay introductory fees and commissions to the introducer which erodes the amount of your money going towards your intended funeral, leaving your surviving family to make up the shortfall.
As an ethical provider of pre-paid funeral services we believe we should be paid when we deliver the service, not when we provide the plan!
